Wes - I think vargas is too damn shot

He looked even more lethargic in this fight than the first mosley fight, no energy at all, so slow. Vargas needs to retire, now.

I was very surprised. Vargas - Mosley 1 was a pretty even fight.

Mosley looked good though, one pf his best performances in a while.

Who would you fancy out of Mosley and Floyd?

Vargas IS shot.. same with Mosley.. i think those two are spent fighters and that HBO
are trying to milk as much as they could from them.

Mosley vs Floyd.. Floyd would outhustle and outsmart Mosley. Floyds technical skill is just unmatched and he is a great thinking fighter. I would have him winning by UD.

Yep probably Floyd by UD. Mosley can punch harder than anyone floyd has fought though, and is bigger/stronger. Wouldn't be a cakewalk for floyd.

That would be a fight i would like to see........ logic says FMJ but SSM is my boy...... the pride of Ptown........

i was in denial for a month when he lost to vernon........ but like they say..... styles beat fighters...... seems Mosley has problems with those long lenky types that fight from the outside........ this will be the fight to bring boxing back..... a little bit atleast.......

don't just box..... if i could do it all over again...... first take wrestling....... get used to shooting and ground leverage....... then BJJ for subs....... finally Muay Thai for striking......

the furture is MMA...... theres going to be no money in Boxing in 10years........

MMA is growing, but not rapidly, and it'll never reach the level of boxing. There's room for both.

I've done karate, taikwondo, thai boxing and boxing.

Thai boxing is the most hardcore martial art, hands down, but still not as hardcore as real boxing. I've never been hit as hard as i have by a decent boxer, thai boxers can throw punches like that. They sure do have some nice knees and elbows though

I really like MMA and wish it could reach boxing status , however I think it has many things holding it back, I also agree that western boxing is more hardcore and crazy than MMA in some respects, sure MMA can possibly get you a broken bone or an almost bareknuckle knockout to the face/head, but they are better protected by the REfs, you may only take one or a few HARD shots but they will stop it right away . Boxers get the hell pounded out of their brains almost daily, these guys may get like 500 shots to the head a night! I am still a big fan of both, good to see other fishkeepers with similar not-only-fish interests too!!

Good to see a guy respect both sports. Im tired of hearing fanboys choosing one over another.
