All of Bruce's Danios are at least 3 inches. He doesn't seem to fast enough to catch them. I watched him chase them for a good 20 minutes straight

Bruce update, he and his lady failed spectacularly with their first spawn attempt. He's still thickening up and starting to get his fin trailers in shape

Haha thanks, I'm using a temporary phone and the quality leaves something to be desired. Once I get my proper phone back I'll post a video update
So, thought for sure the spawn had failed... Even commented as to that belief above haha. Came home today and found a surprise 
125 for now, once he hits 12" I'm upgrading him and the missus to a 210. I'm planning on growing something different out to replace the convict pair they're currently housed with. It's a tough decision as we've kept 2 breeding pairs in a 125 without any incidents to this point. Its incredible to me that even having simultaneously spawned, there's been almost zero increase in aggression.

I had the same idea in a massive tank for a dovii. (Years down the road) put a dovii pair in with a bunch of convicts. And section off part of the tank with a lot of driftwood so the convicts (or something of that small yet robust nature) could dart in and out at their leisure but the dovii can't.
Obviously different but if done right hopefully would have similar results. With potentially convict fry serving as dovii good and vice versa.
