Krispy kreme isn't great by any means but I find them to stand out the most on being different as far as big chains donut stores. You'll never mistake them for anyone else. Some of these places are interchangeable

Most of the krispey kremes in texas are either closed or going out of business. It's all about that Shipley's and Dunkin!

True story. When I lived in Oklahoma the closest Dunkin donuts was 150 miles one way. :( krispy kream doughnuts are suppper greasy for sure. So, needless to say, didn't have doughnuts the whole year and a half I lived there.
