Jason aka Freshwaterpredators doesn't have access to a computer right now so I thought I'd help a brotha out and post pics of his W/C Umbee Trio from Rio Magdalena. The first 2 are of his 11" male Umbee which he recently acquired from me last week (originally purchased from Ira). The next 2 pics are of his 2 separate females which are originally from Ira as well. As you can see from the photos, all 3 are extremely gorgeous specimens and I know Jason is working at trying to get a breeding trio. Anyways, feel free to comment on the photos. I know Jason will be providing updates here on his trio from time to time.

:) thank you so much Bobby for helping me get this thread going. And thank you for this beautiful male Umbee:) He is my future stunner!!! Bobby is a really great Guy to know And work with. The. Umbe made overnight shipping no problems and settled in his new tank quickly.

I also wanna thank Ira for the beautiful females and for making it easy and pleasurable to obtain beautiful specimens. Ira is Also a hella of Guy to know and do business with.

These Umbees were collected only a couple months ago and are all settling and coloring up very nicely. I am currently working at a trio and if not that then at least a pair. So far they are getting along a lot better than I anticipated. I could totally get away with no dividers with all three.

The females don't fight at all, the male tends to get a lil aggressive but not to where the females lives are in danger. But I'm still going with dividers to keep damage and stress down. I give them supervised visitation couple times a day;)

The smaller female laid eggs few days Pryor to the male arriving: ( so I'm waiting on larger female to come thru.

A lil history on females. I initially bought them as a pair and had them in a divided tank. While I was away at work they both laid eggs at divider. LOL. So that confirms that I had two females: ) also that they don't have a problem breeding thru dividers and the larger female should be ready to breed soon. So if all three doesn't work then I know I'll get a pair and have a female on backup.

I'm so happy to finally have the three Umbees. Their color is still coming in daily. I hope it they live a long, happy, and productive lives. Thank you all for viewing. Feel free to add and update your own W/C Umbees as I would like this thread to be on going. I will also post updates.
