  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ghage- Thanks buddy:) ill get some updates of the istlanum up soon. They are sitting on their 3rd batch of fry:) still living happy together.

Thanks Broheim, much appreciated. Your pair inspired me to pick up a male and female from Ruckfules. They were originally fry and are now juveniles, they have become one of my favorites!!!!

I can't wait to see how the male will turn out in a couple of months. He already has the personality and aggressiveness! It's just a matter of time until he gets his full color potential. I hope you get your trio bro and I'm glad my try at shipping a fish was successful!

Ghage- if you got some from ruckfules then you have some nice istlanum. They are Very fun for me to keep and their colors are amazing. If you ever need some from different bloodline then hit me up;)

Bobby- thanks again bro. I have great expectations for him. Right now he's courting larger female. Fingers crossed:) I'm glad shipping was a success too, now you have your wings;) I will definitely take some video footage if I see more promising courtship.

Quick update.

Well it looks like he chose the larger female. They've been left undivided for a week now. Her colors are great, his are still coming in I love the blues. Her tube is dropping today so hopefully ilk have fry soon:) I have someone interested in the smaller female. If I sold her then I could open up the rest of the tank which would be nice.

Super happy for you Jason! Can't wait till you get some little F1 wigglers...I knew it was only going to be a matter of time till you get a pair. Post some vids right when you get access to a comp.

Thanks again Bobby. Well, it finally happened!!! :) at midnight last night they started to spawn. And wow there's gotta be close to 1000 eggs. As of this morning only 3 eggs look unfertal. They pair seems very happy with each other. So I'm gonna sell smaller female and open up the rest of the tank for them. Ill get pics up as soon as I can.

Congrats on the pairing,Jason! They are great looking specimens!

Ok since the last update the larger female and male have paired up and spawned:headbang2 at first it looked as if the batch was fungus'd over. so when i saw eggs floatin i did a w/c and was gonna try and hook the male up with smaller female thinkin that the spawn was a failure. but as i was doin so i noticed the larger female looked as if she was protecting fry. so i investigated and sure enough theres about 200 that made it so there was success.

After that i decided that the trio wasnt gonna work. and that i would rather have a bonded pair and opted to sell the smaller female. But after doin some thinking ive decided to get another male from Ira and have two pairs:naughty:. that smaller female is so beautiful and has so much personality i couldnt get myself to sell her, so instead shes goin to get a boyfriend;)

The male will be here next week and ill post pics of him too. so here are some pics of the umbees. the first 2 or 3 are the male and large female's first meeting, then a few pics over the next few days or so. the last two of female and male are yesterday with their lil swimmers. the last two pics on this post are the smaller female. she is almost ready to spawn again so hopefully shell hold out for the male this time;0

I have since pulled smaller female and put her into a 125 by herself til the male shows up and the pair is in 180 till i move and get to set up my other tanks then ill upgrade them.
