There were some big upsets today. KU, Clemson, Pitt, Oklahoma. Syracuse is beating UConn right now, but it's still way early in the game. I'd like to see that one finish as is. Though playing a sub-par team, Syracuse looked unbeatable last night. Looks like it may be carrying over.
 
I feel like people are still underrating Louisville even after winning the big east outright. Don't forget louisville made it to the elite 8 last year and returned almost everyone, while adding two terrific freshman. They started out slowly and everyone forgot about them but Rick pitino always gets his teams ready by march. It's sad to see that almost no teams from THE DMV will make it to the tourney, UMD and VT are on the bubble but with butler losing the conference tourney and teams like west virginia and ok state knocking off ranked teams they're going to need to win some games in the acc tourney.

Holy crap. I've been busy all day, and hadn't seen any scores from yesterday. That's crazy. Syracuse and WV just ended regulation, 63 all. Another ot for the orange. This is going to kill them come madness.
 
So how do yall think my Cards will do tonight against the big orange? I think Syracuse is going to have another tough game. Theyve got to be mentally and physically drained and add to the fact Pitno conditions his guys to the max and they play 11 guys like its nothing I feel the cards have a good chance to win and secure a number 1 seed in the NCAA.
 
UNC, Mich St, LSU, AZ St all go down today. If Louisville loses, as they currently are, there's no chance of a 1 seed. But if they win, I think it's very possible. Excluding Louisville since they're currently playing, Duke and Mamphis are the only teams in the top 10 that DIDN'T lose out of their tournaments.

Ongenaet for Syracuse just took one of the most painful looking falls I've seen. Wow. Got hung up on a fast break dunk, and landed on the back of his neck and upper back, folding his knees into his face. Somehow, he's looking to come back in the game. Damn.

Yup. Well deserved, too. I'm surprised Syracuse jumped as far as they did. They go from a possible bubble, to #20, then end up a 3 seed in the tournament. All they really did was beat UConn. WV didn't matter, they weren't even ranked. Other than that, the seeds seem pretty spot on.
 
KU is a number 3 seed in the MIDWEST, playing 30 minutes from Lawrence!:headbang2
