Avs now up 3 to 2 :headbang2:headbang2:headbang2

What's up with Detroit starting Osgood on Friday, is Hasek hurt?

No, he's not hurt. Osgood played really well during the regular season, so now that Dom is "struggling" a little bit, their going to Osgood. People were calling for them to start Osgood as early as game 3, we're pretty tough on goalies around here....unfortunately. :irked:

Wings and Wild, all tied up at two a piece, now its time to see what the Wings are made of. they can really use a leader like Stevie Y. right about now.

:confused:wings are playing the predators and tied at 2 each. The wild are down to the Avs 3 games to 2. I do agree though the wings need to get their butts in gear, would hate to see another early round exit for them.

Stevie Y was an awesome player, but if people keep looking for someone to fill his spot, they'll always be looking. The Wings have a great team as is. They are capable of winning the Cup, but the NHL playoffs are crazy, I mean look at what the Ducks are going through right now. The Wings still have Lidstrom who is a great leader, and not to mention guys like Chelios, Draper, Zetterberg and so on. There wont be another Stevie, and there doesn't have to be to win.

 Wow, big win for the Wings tonight, overtime goal by Franzen puts us up 3-2 in the series, headed back to Nashville. It's been a good series, but a frustrating one...:irked:

Good game I though it was over, went and did some chores came back and it was into OT.

Agree with you on Stevie Y, ya just can't replace a player like that. The guy we got here in Denver wearing the same #19 is the same way. Hoping Super Joe can get one more cup before he hangs it up.

You mean Marty Turko right? GO STARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well what do you mean? Is it Marty "Turkey" who has only been able to advance his team on to the second round once in his five atempts? Maybe you actually mean "Turco" which is the correct spelling of his name? Either way I sure the fans in big D will be disappointed again this year.

During the 2003-04 season, Turco continued to give the Stars quality goaltending, again playing (and starting) in the All-Star Game. However, when the Stars played the Colorado Avalanche in the first round of the playoffs, Turco struggled, receiving blame from some for the Stars' losing the series in five games.

In the 2005-06 season, Turco won a career-best 41 games, 8 of them in shootouts. Turco's experience in the 2006 playoffs was similar to the prior season, again losing in five games to the Avalanche.
