Lol, how is Swifty!!?? I've been wanting a dog for soo long, I try not to think about it

He's been a nightmare this week in the snow think its drove him crazy , he fell in the canal on Tues morning bits of it were frozen I had to drag him out , and earlier tonight he decided to start a fight with two big huskies that came bounding over , I had to get in the middle of it (I'm not scared of dogs but I did s##t my self for a min lol , just go get a dog rocky I wanted one for years but never dared but once you've got and your dedicated that's it for life

A frozen water rescue AND a fight!!?? Lol smh, What a handful!!
I wish I could get a dog. I shot myself in the foot as usual by fussing with property management.
Swift sounds like he's having a blast

He's a handful but that's shar pei for ya lol , he'll grow out of it has still a pup really , but yeah the dog fighting needs to stop he kicks off quite a lot but only with big male dogs (I think its when he feels threatened tbh ) gets his defence up

Yeah he shouldn't be fighting. Fighting is probably more dangerous for him right? His loose skin must be easier to grab

I thought that when I got my first pei mampi but later found out the loose skin and texture helps them in fights because they can still turn and bite back and the texture is supposed to put the other dog off , but he needs to stop because unlike mampi swift starts fights and then panics , suppose he's still learning his place in the world

Interesting. Did you have a hand full of skin when you pulled him outta the canal?

No he had his harness on luckily , he walks along the canal edge because they put new gravel on the path and he doesn't like it so he avoids it and walks on the edging stones
