i'd probably burn my house down if someone put a blow torch in my hands.
seeing a live full grown pig get shot between the eyes and shanked in the throat, bled out and kicking, then opened, gutted and cut into quarters is one of the most awesome and gnarly things I've ever witnessed
it was amazing how the pig got stripped of all it's insides. the dude at the slaughter house split it's bottom part open from throat to penis. because everything is attached, he grabs the penis and esophagus and pulled everything out in one clean move. it was all done within minutes

If I recall correctly, how the goats head was handled after butchering was something done out of respect also. I remember first seeing the severed goat head on a pile branches, I think a specific type of branch, then seeing it in the fridge.

The only thing that goes from living to my dinner table in minutes is seafood. I feel a little bad since it's my fault their time on earth is up.

when I was a kid, I remember my brother had a portable gas grill. we caught striped bass and gutted them on the boat and cooked them up. 15 min later we were enjoying it

goats' heads come clean off in seconds if you have the right knife and know where to cut. I seen a dude at a slaughter house behead a dozen goats in what seemed like a couple of minutes
I did feel bad one time I recall as a kid, we had chickens and it was time to put the chickens in the coup for the night. I was fooling around herding them into the coop and I kicked one and broke it's collar bone or something.
it cried out in pain and it's wing was dangling. my mom slit it's throat and it was dinner. but I felt bad for breaking it's wing or whatever it was, and hearing it in pain.
