I still see ads for them in car magazines and I think Valentine runs a lot of ads but no,your'e right I don't see around very often.I mostly notice the portable navigation devices sitting on dashboards.
 
Funny you should mention navigation. I've never been concerned with navigation, I can easily just jot down the 4 turns I don't know before I leave or use my phone but we're going to the outerbanks this summer so I looked into a stand alone unit and less than 5 turned up on amazon. I guess between in dash units and smart phones these are also at the end of their road.
 
random arse question for cichla people

I've been out of the cichla loop for some time now. few years back kelberis were like top 3 most prestigious of the cichlas here in the states right? now they're going rate is like that of monos?

Decided to give my tank a makeover. Brought a new light today, cleaning glass panes and next week I'm buying new fish and plants :D
