I assumed you were referring to the guy that was shot in the back.It seems he was pulled over for an inoperable tail light but he had an outstanding warrant of some kind so he hauled ass.
 
Definitely not defending this cop, but I will say cooperation would have saved this guys life.

He was about to be arrested to serve a warrant for unpaid child support. Don't get served, don't gotta acknowledge it. What I'm foggy on is he got pulled over about a block and a half away from where the shooting occurred. In the very beginning of the video they're actually wrestling on the ground and the guy who took the video has said they were wrestling on the ground but the cop was in control. so there was an actual scuffle (video evidence and witness report). I think the cop has a legit defense as far as our courts work.

i actually thought the shooting of the mentally handicapped young man about two weeks ago was less justified. Anyone see that one? I think in Texas

I don't think so myself. I don't condone running from the cops, but imo, that was cold blooded murder. Imo, dude needs to spend the rest of his life in the darkest part of the prison.
 
My guess is he ran from his car and the officer caught up with him at some point at which time the scuffle began.He got away from the cop and ran and then was fired upon.

Thats probably why he is sitting in a jail cell and charged with murder.The cop shot the guy in the back as he was running away and posing an immediate threat to no one.
 
Imo, there was absolutely no reason to shoot, other than being too lazy to run after the guy, and the other thing.
 
He was kinda light jogging too lol. I bet the cop could've went back to his car, ate a donut and drank some coffee and still caught up to him lmao.

But...idk, it's not as simple as the original video/story of guy shoots man in the back. There was some initial danger there before the running

There very well might have been but based on what is known the cop's employers have thrown him in jail.
Anyhow guess who's discovered Orange is the new Black?
