I'm mostly on my tablet. I used the mobile app occasionally but never liked the limited functionality for moderation so started to use the desk top request option. I don't have a smart phone but have noticed a lot of members used the app almost exclusively. What do you see if you try using it? It's possible a vast majority of app users don't know the site is back. Seems like the site is now leaning heavily towards Facebook as its conduit to interface with social media, so if you were an app user that doesn't Facebook you wouldn't be aware the site is back. It's aslo a holiday weekend so we might see more activity start to build next week as word starts to spread.

You get the same "unable to reach server message" (but its like a paragraph long) that you'd get any other time. Nothing to make you suspect it's back.

I don't have any facts to prove it but I'd bet a majority of our daily posters were mobil app exclusive. when the site is down for awhile I check Facebook as updates tend to float around there but I haven't done that in over a year. A mass email might be a good idea

Check your alert preferences. You're likely getting alerts when someone quotes you or gives a like, but by default I don't think the system alerts you when you get a reply to a thread.

I swear though, like every day i'm seeing new features. I guess my eyes aren't trained to notice new things, I only look at what was familiar before.

when the site first went back up I didn't even notice the like button until someone mentioned it
