Arcades are a pretty decent investment. Pretty cheap and retain their values on the short term, escalates over the long term. Barcades are hella popular in the northwest. Like privately own Dave and busters style with old arcade games and cheap bars.

yea man, I can't wait. there's those arcades where you can have like 100 games put into one arcade and you just choose which one you want to play

but I plan on getting streetfighter II, shinobi and double dragon. those are my 3 must-haves. everything else is just a bonus

I also would love a couple of first person shooter arcades too, like house of the dead and a deer hunter game or something where you have handguns or rifles attached to the arcade.

my wife told me when she's done with school she wants to buy me my dream car. I grunted a response with 5 words

"no"

"me"

"want"

"man"

"cave"

dude, when I get going on my mancave, i'm making a thread for it for sure

shinobi and double dragon are fun as hell. for nostalgic reasons too, we used to wait for the bus at this corner that had a circle k and they had shinobi and double dragon. we'd go buy snacks and play arcade there while waiting for the bus or after getting dropped off.

streetfighter is my all time fav arcade though. screw mortal kombat, tekken, killer instinct and all that other noise

Sweet, big plans for my garage this year too! Nothing fancy, I just want it laid out right.

You can't like more then 1 fighting game? Lol that junked stopped being HUGE in arcades and I started playing them at home at like 8 years old. Countless hours spent playing them for free on my living room floor and then unleashing my combos on older kids at the nickel arcade! Wooo the finishers alone make a bigger impression on kids my age then street fighters ever could. Street fighters was still cool but the finishers though!

I had slowly stopped playing just as the fighting games got huge so I never got into tekken, mk, primal instinct, killer instinct and the marvel fighting games (marvel vs Capcom and what not)

yea for someone like me, after not playing anymore, when I saw all the huge combos and super moves it was a little too much tbh. I mean super moves can get you like 50+ combo hits

finishing moves were dope though, I like those

Yeah by the time fighting games got to third generations I wasn't into them either. combos were too long. First MK though, even my 8 year old mind could handle a 2-4 button sequence to hit a finisher! Many fist fights broke out in my neighborhood over those fighting games listed lol. No joke. I saw a few sucker punched landed while someone is concentrated on hitting the finisher
