That's lame mate , why you got no right to decide what to do with them ? Is it location of setups or what's housed in them ? Can't you just narrow it down for now ? That's what I had to do at my parents when I moved back there after university only had my bedroom to house a 4x2x2

You know them? I did not know names on shirts/toys makes it more likely for that child to be kidnapped.

Always a good idea to send a GIFT RECEIPT and not the original though. They only get the value you paid on a giftcard. If I wanted to buy you formula, I'd buy you formula lol

btw, what's the difference if they get the original or a gift receipt? if they return the item, they only get what was paid for the item regardless of which receipt don't they?
 
Original receipt = return given back on cash or card = can be spent anywhere

Gift receipt = return goes on giftcard = money stays in that store

Minor detail since you already gifted it but I like my purchases to be as I intended it to be....not alcohol, rent money, Starbucks, paying off debt etc

oh, I didn't know that about gift receipts. they won't refund cash but give store credit?

but what difference does it make? they return it and buy something else they need. pretty much the same as cash besides using it elsewhere. it doesn't affect me anymore once I purchased it so they can do whatever they want with it

If I buy you some nike shoes, I intend for you to have some shoes...if you return it and get some other product from the Nike store cool.

However, you're not returning my 50-80 buck shoes for dinner and drinks or whatever else you want. I'd have given you cash or a giftcard if I intended. I got too many alcoholics and people not in great places in their life right now. I'm not giving them the freedom to spend where ever they want. Heck, I don't even trust some of them to make sure that money stayed with their kids if I gave them a receipt. I know people who tell their kids they're putting their birthday money into saving, then spend it

the problem then would be your choice of friends or choice of the gift

if I had a struggling friend, I wouldn't by them a $80 shoe because there are probably other things that would help them more
 
I wouldn't trust struggling friend with said shoes for his kids either...which I thought was the topic of the post?

Either way, there's a huge difference between a gift receipt and a original receipt. That money isn't walking out of that store when you give a gift receipt.
