lol, thats like a drug addict saying "oh, thats why I loved crack so much, where can i get more of it??!!"

just kidding, glad that you are having fun with it, sometimes a break is all that is needed to renew interest

Elting - I completely agree, now let's see how long it takes before I get tired of water changes.

very nice, good choice on the neet, they are cool fish but mean little buggers. I had one in a 55g that was 1" and it picked on all my semi aggressive fish that were 3"-5". If i remember correctly, a guy had a couple with a full grown male chancho and it was scared to death of the neets.
Good luck with everything and keep us updated

Changing water in the 40 breeder shouldn't tire you out.

Make sure you have a "python" type device and the 120 wont be so bad either.

how are the fish getting acclimated?

fish are acclimating perfectly. I went to SA today and got a really nice centerpiece of diftwood, but couldnt find any more members to add to the stock. They are eating great and getting along well, now that the neet is gone. Escondido seems to be in charge, the vieja melanurus not far behind. but a well balanced tank. Looking forward to setting up a monster Japanese style tank, cichla - stingrays - datnoids - cats - etc. bare bottom plain tank!!!

Yeah, it is safe to say you have the bug again.

Cant wait to see pics of the escondito. cheers

Guianacara Sphenozona
Neetroplus Nematopus

minus these two, had to remove the neet, and the other was killed today by the other members. This is a pretty fierce tank. not amph or guapote, but still no messing around
