Looks sweet Scott. is the azul still the meanest?/ most aggressive? or does it go back and forth? have you noticed the intense red under his gills? just amazing!!!
No fighting...or at least what I would consider fighting....the tank is so big that any dispute is just a short chase...the orinocensis and azul are the biggest aggitators of any disputes....the big guys just mind their own and watch for me to walk by...I=food

And to everyone else....I will make it a point to get other pics before this weekend of some other crap I have
alot of the stuff I just consider boring compared to the flambouyant bass....stay tuned
Sorry I didnt get back sooner(slacker).....yes the azul is the demon of the tank...even punks the mean *** orinos, he is pretty much always flaired up and looking to fight and chase...and yes the orange is intense as hell. The only bass he doent mess with are the big guys that are over 18",but he doesnt fear them...simply moves out of their way and continues to scan the tank for his next chase. I have bulked him up quite a bit now due to the heavy daily feeing to the bigger guys and a couple breeding pair in other tanks had me set up a large inventory of live shiners(over 4000 in a garage tank with a chiller)so I have been feeding all of them large amounts on a daily basis for 2 1/2 weeks now so I can dwindle the shiner population to a reasonable amount
he is 8" right now but really thickened up and changing his (top-bottom) width....got a few good pics of him yesterday(will post them with next batch of pics).
