not true. ever seen dyed blood parrots? ALL of the fish is colored. the oscars are dyed albinos. pretty sad actually.

if you notice for the dyed parrots, their color is only vibrant during their juvenile stage....once they get into their semi adult size..they will fade to black.

for this oscar...i have seen 10-11" specimens stil retaining the color.

wow
that must be a sight to see

Hah..sorry to say..we dun have stocks for these..I got mine from C328.

they dye them in ALL sizes. we have chinatown stores here dat have BIG 6"-8" blood parrots in brilliant orange & reds. just look at the eyes of ur oscars, they are RED. only true albinos get red eyes. they are dyed albinos. wat's truly SAD is they are dying more species of cichlids now, yes I have seen DYED red devils & midas (as if they need dying) & even the vieja species. truly sad, as only noobs/ignorant hobbyist pick them up. but there's enuff of them to keep market demand. perhaps the fish keep DIE-ing forcing the person to keep buying.

LOL..

Just as I thought you are ttman. Its nice to see you over here!
Anyway I agree with you about seeing full grown dyed fish. I have seen 10" blue berry oscars( oscars that are dyed blue) that still have blue throughout their body and fins. So certainly it would not be shocking if these oscars are dyed albinos.
