Oh man I never thought it would happen to me

I've read many times here about filling tanks and forgeting about it.. Well I never thought It would happen to me.. I thought reading the horror stories was a lesson learned for me.
The other day I was filling one tank and working on the other and all of a sudden I hear the water falling... oh man it's all carpet there.. I live in a building .. thank god no one lives below me.. it's been a vacent store for two years... I don't think any water made it down there though... Well at lease I caught it before it was too bad.. just funny that I thought it would never happen to me.


Lesson learned.

Fell asleep while refilling my 150 during a 50% water change once. No idea how long it was overflowing. It was raining in my basement pretty good though.

I was siphoning water out of my saltwater tank and left the room...cost me $250 to get the smell out of the house.

That sucks. I have my tank in the garage. So spilling water is a no problem

this is always a risk when using a python! I myself have done it two or three times. I guess I will never learn my lesson.

I had some airline tubing in one of my tanks through that little hole and the other end of the tubing was ontop of the tank. I came back home later to find the other end on the floor and my tank a quarter empty.
