What foods have you been feeding them? Krill, plankton, and foods high in astaxanthin will intensify red colors.

possibly because the flowerhorns are red so the fry will have red pigmenting when they hatch?

anyway they look normal eggs to me ( fertilized ). I have never seen egs as those..keep us posted on developments, please.

OddBall yes I was feeding color enhancing pellets and freeze dried shrimp or krill, but I have been feeding my Red Dev pair that just had around 200 fry the same. Their eggs did not look like this? Strange isn't it!
