Seems ok now hasnt eaten anything yet but breathing has slowed and has been moving around. Seems pretty unhappy in the smaller tank. How long before I should put him back?

What tank is he in now maby you can leve hi in there but i dont know tell me how is doig mack sure he eats but dont forhim to eat

He is doing great. Today he ate two canadian nightcrawlers out of my hand. Still not as active as he was but it might be the smaller space. I am going to leave him in the hospital tank for a week or so to observe since his slime coat was a real mess. Its amazing this fish made it. He was stiff as a board and all dried out. Just got lucky and found him in the nick of time. Thanks for the assist I probably would have panicked more and drugged him or something.

Glad to hear he is ok i new he would be ok can i get pics?

Wahoo!!! That is great news.

Keep that tank covered!

Horrible news. The EEL escaped from the hospital tank and is dead I have no idea how it got out. The tank is sealed tight. I even drilled holes for the airlines for the sponge filters and the heater cord was notched in so tight it was a fight just to get the cover on. It had to lift up the lid to get out theres no other possibility. This was a beautiful specimen too.
