Are you sure they are RES? They could be painted turtles from what I can see of the carapace and also they lack the red "ear" markings...

lol they got some red on the ears so im assuming and the fact their native here. But otherwise i would be psyched if i have some painted.
the mamma wasnt around but the last batch that i found came form a 17 inch kio eater. and i didnt check to see what species.

They're not painteds, out your way the painteds will have the bright red stripe down their back, and they keep it for life. Sliders.
