OH no my calvus/comp is gone :(

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
tall fake plants or real and like swords or something?? cause if its real plants i dont think hard water is good for most plants... correct me if i'm wrong

Swords will not do good in hard water. They will live, just not thrive. I would use them, I also have a LFS thats has loads of them for cheap. I would use some decor. even if it is temp. Might help reduce stress a little. I know those big loaches will like a little shade. Like Mike said, keep doing small WC's and feed sparingly til the parms. regulate. And sorry to hear about the Comp....... realllly sucks...

thanks man... yea i've been doing water changes like 50 gallons today... i havent fed them for 2 days so far cause i didnt want anything to spike again.... i was thinking of feeding them tomorrow.... as for stress factor... i have no idea how i'm going to reach the bottom of the tank after i'm done with the decorations... its a 31 inch tall tank and i'm not that tall.... i use a 3-4 ft step stool to turn the lights on and off and maintenance the tank... i'm about to set up a switch for it thought so i dont have to use the step ladder that much.... i cant reach the bottom of the tank to set the decorations in... o and my apple snail just laid eggs... eww.... i guess its a complement that im doing good with teh water.... i just discovered them today... they look kinda old... so i think about 3 more weeks they are going to hatch... the loaches keep on picking on the snail... :( i need to get the 125 up and going again....

its going to be a pain trying to catch them all and move them back

use fake plants and weight them... that way you can just grab the top of them to take out and set them down by the top as well... not to look amazing just to help keep them claim...
