today I just went to C328 brought a brown senegallus. came home then realised it has only 1 eye. I dont think I can return? will it affect the senegallus?

Should be ok as long as it appears to be acting normal and no sign of infection. Should be ok to eat as there aren't too many others in the tank that may steal food from the Senegal. May need to do some targeted feeding in that case. Get some tongs/forceps and directly put in front of the fish to eat. Should be able to live a normal life. Make sure u don't have tank mates like a Aba Aba or tiger knife that will target eyes of other fish. Try him out and see.

You hooe that cotinues to work out.

I've read a few articles that polys have poor eye sight, and personally I know they use their sense of smell lol:) He should be fine, I've raised a couple of one eye fish mysel.

one of my endlis has one eye, she actually eats better/faster than my other two. mustve learned early on to be the fastest. yours should do fine, just make sure it has opportunity to learn and not just lose everytime, kind of like a toddler but better :)
