Chub, im far from trolling. I used to believe in human over population. I read up it and guess what? Its false.

I can go on and on about this and if I wasnt on mobile I would. Just to maintain population at the same level, each person needs to have and have survive to adulthood, 2 children. Guess what? That doesnt happen.

this "cartoon" is complete b.s . is says nothing about resource shortages ,, climate change..food shortages..pollution problems.. the need for fossil fuel(the need to keep things profitable isn't justification)... it's the same mentality "global warming is a myth ,because it's snowing outside"....overpopulation isn't about overcrowding in the cities ...it's about man's inability to sustain ANYWHERE CLOSE to 100% of the global population
...by the way why in the world would you think we need to work at keeping global population up?...it isn't like the human race is going to stop reproducing by choice... when you get your "facts"from cartoons off the internet ,you might as well be looking at the fireplace for santa
 
We need to keep the population up to keep people like you alive.

You do realise people die right? In order to MAINTAIN a populace to care for the previous generation or even leaches, people need to have kids. There is tons of papers out there debunking this dribble you and buf are spewing. Its out dated and false.
 
by the way your stats on "maintaining "human population have to be 100% wrong ...global population hasn't decreased in a year since the flu epidemic of 1918-19,,, even ww2 didn't do it..every year population increases ,,,so how is it your info has you believing we are going "extinct" due to not enough regular reproduction?
 
FACTS are that the population INCREASES EVERY YEAR...show me ANY CREDIBLE scientific census that says otherwise....... got news for ya...just because you can dig up "info"on the internet on some obscure site that contradicts ALL credible evidence doesn't make it so.. and just because you can find 1 or 2 other uninformed people to agree with you,,doesn't make you the winner in a disagreement on a website... it is evidence that you are a contrarian by nature and seek affirmation rather than information

If a couple websites can sway you w/ some made up facts and a cartoon, thats fine and dandy for you. Truth is the population is booming, its increased by a billion people since 2000.

More, uneducated, people make more babies, a lot more then 2 per person. Of course people dont want to hear that theres an overpopulation problem, so they try their hardest to make it seem like there isnt one. There are sites like that for everything, sites saying global warming is a myth (again, something proven by science), saying solar storms are a myth, saying extinction of certain animals is a myth, etc. If you want to believe some more then likely church-backed facts and figured, be my guest.

Too many people=not enough everything for everyone. Why do you think all of the sudden there are billboards saying kids are starving in america? If you look into the study they went to elementary schools always before lunch and asked kids if they were hungry. Of course they are hungry. All these sites are the same thing. I dont care if a few people dont believe in it, because the vast majority of mature adults do know that overpopulation will cause problems. So, all in all, if you want to ignore real scientific facts and figures, go ahead. Have fun in your little world of delusion and denial.

you are 100%correct ...The global climate change thing still baffles me ...people WHO KNOW ..won't just stand up and say "if the climate isn't changing why are the polar ice caps smaller than they have been in recorded history?" naysayers point to the "ice age scare" in the 1970's as evidence that "we don't know for sure"..that was mostly 1 article by a couple of scientists in time magazine... global climate change has been researched by 100's of climatologists for over a decade

You do realize people are having more kids then ever before right? Since there is this recession, uneducated people are having tons of kids for the tax and welfare benefits. The population is increasing, not leveling out. If it was leveling out we would still be around 6 billion. Instead we are around 8 billion. Theres so many people, in greece and spain they cant even get jobs. Hundreds of thousands of unemployed people riot in the streets. If there were less people in the first place, there wouldnt be all this craziness.

Right now, america doesnt have an overpopulation problem, not that badly at least. Give it a few hundred years, w/ medical advancements people are living longer then ever before, which at one pint is just silly IMO. My father had ALS, Lue Gehrigs. At one point he became a vegetable. So, my family decided it was time to pull the plug. People are kept alive far too long, if they cant remember who they are, where they are, or anything for that matter what is the point of being alive? If i ever get to that point and my family doesnt do the humane thing and pull the plug, first lucid moment i get ill off myself. Nobody should have to live like that, be forced to deal with the terrible effects of old age for essentially nothing.
