If northern snakeheads can survive in russia im sure they could survive canadian winters as well. Theres been reports of people catching them in rivers in Montreal already.
 
Id say hell yeah! Northerns are nasty predators. But im no expert on either species so just a factless opinion haha

on the next news report they are sending in the canadian navy :S so blown out of proportion, telling people to watch out for their kids and dogs.
 
Seems there are a little information on the snakehead in Canada...so was this snakehead a dumped pet or released by asians?
 
nothing i have seen has said, the news and other media is too busy telling how dangerous the fish is. its a nice looking snakehead, too bad the guy didnt just try and net it instead of taking a video of it. its pretty big im sure someone couldnt handle it anymore and dumped it :(

I dont know, that snakehead in video looks lifeless, just floating around and it acts like it doesnt notice you were there.
 
Man, the comments on Youtube and blogs were ridiculous. I swore they don't know what they are talking about.
