I can't go into those places and not feel horrible for the fish.

Tay, perhaps you should simply stop going into these places. I'd hate to see you blow a fuse.

i didn't actually read through the thread because we've had so many other threads like this in the past and the answer is simple, stop buying from them and supporting them. i do have a new wrinkle though

i was visiting a recently remodeled wal mart a couple of weeks back and it had the most beautiful aquatic section i'd ever seen. All the tanks were nice looking with backgrounds, no more blue walls, all fish were healthy looking etc etc. I wish i had taken pics for comparison. Anyways, i think the general image of wal mart's aquatic centers will change if they remodeled all of them to look like the one i saw

another one of these threads? really?

news flash, you will NEVER get walmart to stop selling fish. no petition no complaits nothing. When it stops turning a profit(big enough for WM, they want huge ones) then it will be removed not untill

That wasn't my intention when I posted this thread. I was posting MY feelings about what I saw. If you don't like it, don't read it :)

Sighs, again. I was just posting MY feelings on what I saw. I'm not asking for people to agree with me about ANYTHING. I'm very new to this site and I really don't have time to read thru all of the threads that are about this subject. Lol.

Don't worry about it, if you stick around you will see that Walmart is a recurring nightmare around here so people don't approach the threads with much enthusiasm anymore.

I completely understand that. I was just sharing my feelings. I just won't do it anymore unless its about my fish, lol. Since that's what this site is for ;)

oh no, i wasn't trying to disregard your rant. it's just amusing to me when people say how horrible a place is but then support it by buying fish from it. you can post about whatever you want. you'd never talk about how bad a resturant is but then say you didn't want the food to go to waste so you bought some anyways? lol, as someone mentioned before, wal mart comes up quite a bit.

no one has anything to say about the remodeled fish centers they're putting in though? Has anyone else seen one yet?
