Killerfish...a little advice next time but instead of submitting everytime to see if a post works hit the "preview" button next to submit...It will appear exactly as if posted so you can proof read it. Hope this helps!

PS///Also when you post a comment...you can easily edit that comment and add or substract a statement as opposed to adding a new comment like 1 minute later like a chat room would be and that will keep your thread down and more varied.

Hey KillerFish how's it going? What did you decide to do? Your 55g isn't big enough for a jaguar. I think if you went back and said "Hey, yesterday you gave me the wrong fish, I need to exchange it for the firemouth", they would do it. Any of my lfs's here would do it, no problem.

I bought a v synspillum once and didn't look at it. Got it home and it wasn't the exact one I asked for and mine store traded it.
 
Seriously bro, if you didn't want the fish, take it back. Tell them what happened, make sure they realize what happened also. Tell them that it is a Parachromis managuense, not a Thorichthys meeki. After you have officially confused them speak in laymens terms. YOU GAVE ME A JAG, I WANTED A FIREMOUTH! Since you will appear to know what you are talkin about they should listen and mark the fish correctly. Besides, they want their customers to continue coming back, so they should bend over backwards to help you. ;)

come on Man, enjoy the jaguar! Destiny or whatever placed it in your care..who knows? Maybe in a couple of years you 'll be a big jag breeder or something..they are awesome fish, keep it..your one and only firemouth jag!:)

Dude we try to look out for the best interest of the fish here at MonsterFishKeepers and keeping a Managuense in a 55 gallon tank doesn't fit in that category. :thumbsdow

Killerfish is intellegent enough to know what fish would be best in his tank and they gave him the wrong one.

Sorry I didn't mean to be pompous but don't turn this into a personal attack on me. If you would read the posts before you start dishing out advice, you would be aware of all the facts and not give out poor advice to people who are looking for real help.
