where are you in ohio??
in columbus there are a few LFS that may be interested, but i dont know if they'd have room, or if they would reimburse you at all.
maybe try calling Jacks Aquarium, or Aquarium Adventure??
ive seen eels at jacks, but i dont know about a 6 footer!

ALSO - you might try monsterfishrescue.com
they are located in ohio. i dont know if they physically take fish, or if they just post them on their site. but its worth a try i guess???

i wouldn't try jacks they would end up with it for life and i have never been in one that has a tank big enough for it aquarium adventre on the other hand MIGHT be able to help ya out

The Eel has a new owner. He can't pick him up for a little while, do to reconstruction of the room the eel will be going in. So for now I'll just have to enjoy him swimming around in the tank a little while longer... This is one cool fish. Thank's everybody for helping me try to find this guy a home.
