Dude I just came home and one of my main airstone turned off and some of the eggs have bacteria on them! I know everyone was telling me to put them in a 20 gallon but i don't have one. But I would say about 80% of the eggs still look really good.

Methylene blue the bad eggs will turn blue and saturate with it.. remove them.. Cichla eggs have a tendancy to be extremely contagious with fungus.

I dont have any methylane blue. what should i do in the mean time? Where do i get mathylane blue? Petsmart? Would a water change help at all?

Water change... May help.. i never did till days after the hatch.. BUT... quick cure helps may pima fix I have not tried it specifically for cichla eggs... But sure it will help.

Methylene blue I had to get from some local Heavy African breeders.

just got home from a friends bday party and the eggs are hatching! looks like I have about 5-10 wigglers and another 10-15 that are hopping around in the pebbles on the bottom. How many should i expect to survive after this point? is the most crucial part over or do I still have a good chance to loose these little guys?

Cool thanks for the hope. They are still alive and more have hatched and they are starting to hop swim around the aquarium every so often. How long till they can actually swim, and anyone know of anything else to feed them besides baby brine shrimp? When do you actually have to start feeding them and how often because I have been told and have been reading different opinions on this matter.
