I posted earlier about a new Golden Emperor I'd recently inherited, hes a beaut imo of coarse. But here are some pics, i was having some issues with him... He hasn't been eating for nearly more than 2 weeks now.. pretty much since i got him. And his eye went weird in the last 3 days as well as loss of color, but just lastnight I added salt, and the next morning (this morning) his color was back and bright. Here are some pics, please help.

the eye: his right one, seems to be cloudy and popping out

He used to have nice trailers, but my cousin attempted to breed him (no eggs were produced), before he was given to me and the female took them out. sighh.

thanks armac, i think so to, but I dont think he's a JK, infact i don't think he ever went through a fading process, he was bought (by my cousin) as a Golden Emperor, at like 3 inch and he was white at first or peach or something. Then colored up, this was him before, at my cousins:

Beantickler was saying something about popeye and dead fish?? can some one help me please, if t is pop eye is there anything more i can do, i'm hoping the salt is helping, he certainly looks better but his eye is still nasty,

i really dont want to lose this guy, my first imo quality flowerhorn

btw, i know most people might assume I mess around and photoshop the images or something, but i can honestly say I just have a good camera.

That is one awesome looking fish!!!!! Enjoy him.

Regarding pop eye. My Red Spot Severum has protruding eye sockets similar to your GE. Just keep doing frequent water changes to clear up the cloudy eye.

my lfs has fish like that at about 2" for $10. is that a good deal? they couldn't really tell me much about them just said flowerhorn. I asked if jing kang and they shrugged and said flowerhorn. Pretty solid white some with a litle pink orange tint towards gills and face. another mystery or does someone know what makes these? I think first fish in post is jk..
