love to see it when its all done!!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so this was the plan from the head! 1) not going to large. about to purchase liner 8x10 ft 2) after some figuring, im thinking 7' long 5' wide 3' deep. 3)want to use blocks just stacked together and liner inside? never built a pond so, im asking for help! 4) blocks measure 16"x8"x8" 5) now MFK help!

im very concerned with the edges of the block along the top, holding done the liner. thinking of using some 90 degree angled foam i found at the home depot.

You're going to need a bigger liner or a smaller pond. 8x10 liner for a three foot pond would make it a 2x4 pond.

:headbang2thats fuuny because i was just thinking the same thing! ok, so is there a way to attach two pieces of liner securely? i was going to pick up three liners from a mfk member. two that are 8x10, and one that is 5x6. if they cant work, ill just have to buy another. especially if i keep moving these blocks up the hill!

and im thinking of placing a 2" deep play sand base, on top of the cement. to allow for any leveling, a contour on the angle up, and alittle soft support on the boottom of the liner. good idea?

ok i just checked out EPDM accessories ( PONDLINERS.COM)and they have a splicing seam tape, and cover tape for the seam. anyone use these before? do they work, or just buy new larger liner? one piece?

Never used the tape but a lot of people have with success. Someone just built a pond on here using carpet pad for cushioning. When I did mine I used a 45 mil liner in a wood box, no issues so far.

One piece liner is best, but the seam tape works good. Just make sure the use the right cleaner/primer for the liner. Also, try to scuff the surface of the liner a little, w/a pot scubbie prior to cleaning.
