Well even though one clip has broken off mine, I still use the broken impeller cover and it works just fine.

Same here not a bad filter but mine seems to leak if the power goes out that's why it's in a bucket

To quote the breakfast club "Its an imperfect world and sometimes things break"

Its chugging away just fine now and it ran with the broken clip but I was a bit worried it. Im still convinced its a form of planned obsolescence .
