they very shy so these are to only pics i can get for now
dont know what they are but for $5 for the pair i'll keep them

Looks like a Jewel cichlid. African cichlid. Usually very aggressive. Can spawn frequently and quickly if possible.


Oh and hot girls who work at LFS can get expensive and distracting hehe

have had them in my SA/CA tank for a few days they seem to be doing great other than being shy
if they need something differant let me know i have a tank i can set up just for them

They are a west african cichlid. They typically naturally in soft water, but will adapt and breed in any water not too extreme. They can be very aggressive and depending on species (some stay small 4", some get larger 8") may take over the entire tank. Personally, I would move them to their own tank. Although they might not kill anyone, your oscar and plecs could end up with chewed fins and missing scales, expecially if they breed.
