alright my tank has had ich now for about a week, a lil less....
ive never had an issue like this b4..i know what to do...i raised the temp i even added some salt becuz i have tetras and the ich hide in the mucos layer of the fish which the salt removes so i added it to try an fast forwrd it...its not working...
everyday i do a 35% plus water change then add anout 7 ina half tsp of ridich.......
and it looks like i havent made a budge in the parasite..
3 of my neons have died whichis understandable bcz of high tempts and stress from the ich...
but now my phantom tetras are starting to get it heavily...
none of my gouramis or angelfish have spots..they had spots but theyve been gone for 2 days now...
i dont understand..
my pleco has no spots and my favortie black phantom male tetra has no spots but the other 2 males have um and so does they 6 females......
im confused really

You can try CopperSafe by Mardel [can get at Petsmart for around $10]. I used it once and it worked for me. The cool thing about it is you add it and it works for up to a month (no need to do water changes).

I do prefer the "natural method" (salt high temps, water changes), but if that doesn't work, gotta use meds.

Good Luck !!!! :headbang2:headbang2

I had good results with Kordon's Ich*Attack, which is an organic product . . . as I recall, I used that particular product because it was supposed to be safer for the loaches that I had . . .
