Haha I said that to them, I even have my old 25g still down the shed, would look lovely there but mum lets the relatives she doesn't much like sit there lol.
I'm kinda lucky, the guy that I'm seeing at the moment isn't really into fish but he does enjoy watching them and doesn't mind being dragged around fish shops for hours so its all good really.
Good luck with the Piranha MisterRomeo. One of my cousins once had a pair, it was his first fish and needless to say they didnt last long, I hope you've done your research. Beautiful and I would assume a great conversation piece but they sound like they require a lot of space and a hell of a lot of work. If you do get them though please post a pic with a sign saying 'Beware of the fish'
