Ok...maybe I should just bail on this ray now...

The nylon idea is done. That might be the best idea I've come up with all week. As I was filling the nylons I was thinking that it may be good to just keep them after I take them back out. They could be useful in the future. But I did kind of get a snag in one of them so maybe it would be a good to double bag them when I take them out.

I hope someone doesn't post in an hour telling me this is a bad idea. It can't be a bad can it? :)

If your tank is having issues cycling I would cut down to feeding once a day until you get the cycle figured out.... putting on weight is a good idea unless it causes the tank to crash at this point.... let it cycle and slowly increase ur feedings. It sounds like you are doing everything right now.... once everything calms down that ray is going to be the best fish you have ever owned and you will be addicted!

Would recommend doing daily water changes, using prime to keep the ammonia from doing to much damage, and using Stability, also from seachem, to get your cycle going as fast as possible. As turkeyboy said limit your feedings to help keep the ammonia down, and watch out for a nitrite spike when it starts to cycle.
