Thank you everyone, the advice passed out was very helpful. I really would like to keep all these fish though. I am not an expert at cichlids as of yet. I have been keeping them for around 2 years. I am getting ready to take three fish out the puffer and jag and an african i forgot to mention thanks for the advice!

So i just did a 20% water change. So now i have 1 inch firemouth, ! 1/12 Inch female jack, 5-6 inch jack and my two plecos. Much better right?

Yes I guess but still your going to need around 125 gallons to house the fish properly when adults. Mostly because of the plecos. I am assuming they are commons right? Also how is one of your jacks 1/12 of an inch? Is it still a Fry lol. How could you even sex that?

ii had them all in different tanks i had my firemouth in my 29 the 2 jacks and the jag in the 75 and the big pleco do i not need plecos whats there use i had the one pleco for at least 4 years when i was just messing with tropical fish

it would be good to get rid of the plecos because of all of the bioload that they produce

yes and yes

all fish should have a filter and since that plecos are found from South America to southern Florida were the water is warm, means that they do need a heater
