I am not very good at English, wich you will find out soon enough...
I am not 100% sure about the UsS terms, but I think that a cannister is a filter that you use on the floor, with a big filtervolume...?
I bought mine(the biggest from AM-TOP) 2 months ago. In the box I have 3 cases. In the lowest i have a rough filter and crushed lavarock. In the middle one I only got crushed lavarock, and in the one at the top I have lavarock+ a filter that looks most like cotton.
This filter(Cannister?) really does the job. I got 4, 10" Channa micropeltes(big snakehead/red snakehead), + 2, 11" Oscar.
The water is still clear as a fresh stream from the mountains. But of course my tank is about 95G, and the punp/filters can stand a 145G tank...
