Maybe one of your heaters thermostats is malfunctioning in the "on" position.
I have found heaters fail 50% of the time in the "on" position and can cook the fish.
I noticed one of mine fail, when the PVC carrying water started to sag, because it was almost melting.
If the heaters are over a year old, this would be my first Investigation point.
Unplug them one at a time, and see what happens.

After this type stuck "on" thermostat happened a couple times, I started buying significantly undersized heaters and using a few per tank as a safeguard instead of the size that could cook a tank, and replacing them yearly.
I have 5 heaters 2 on controllers but that was the first thing I tried my heaters have been unpluged for days now.

Ok the tank hit 83 degrees this morning I don't get this all heater are unpluged. I only have a algae scrubber, carbon reactor and the pump running. I don't get why the tank just keeps going up. Should it not stay at the room temp? I am going to try to add fans but the way it looks I am going to need a chiller. Anyone know a cheap brand of chiller? Don't get why they are that much I know the condenser is titanium but dam it is a portable ac that cools water not air

are you already dripping cold water in?

this was what i had to do to offset undesirable temps…

you’ve got 600g of sump now? nice! clean water ?

I don't have it hooked up yet was going to do it this weekend. I know before with everything else I did not have to drip alot of water to keep the nutrients in check.
That will help a bit I know I put the water change hose in and let it run full blast for 20 min and it dropped the temp 0.1 degrees lol ?
Love the new sumps my living room is so quiet now. Basement sounds like a pool macanical room lol.
My filter socks would clog up in 2-3 hours now my macanical filtration lasts for days.

Ok I stopped being lazy and hooked up the drip system but it has been dripping 15 gph for over 2 hours now and the temp has gone down 0.1. I am not going to leave it that high probably set it around 5gph after today. My nitrates were kind of high at 40ppm so I am trying to bring that down. I took my denitateors off line to see if the algae scrubber can keep up. Looks like I might need to add another one. I have the largest icecap one now.
I can't wait to get my bead filter, my carbon reactor clogged to quick

Lol well I have been dripping 15gph for over 12 hours now and the temp has only dropped 0.7 degrees. I'm glad I am on a well.
Also I did not realize how much my sulfur denitateors were doing, without them my nitrates that took months to accumulate went to 40ppm in a little over a week. I have a clearwater algae scrubber that I am going to put up I just need lights for it. If that don't work I will put the sulfur denitateor back online. The reason I am trying algae scrubbers is because I had extremely high phosphate over 4 ppm, so I was trying to kill 2 bird with one stone
