I not to sure but i think below 75 that Indo may get sick. I had them in temps of 75 but you may be able to get away with the temp down to 70 but thats taking a chance and if you go lower it will probably die. Sell it if your going to go native. You can keep your tank 75 and the Indo will live and the large and small mouth will live just fine. You dont have to let it get cold.

i do have it for sale but theres not too many people interested. im going to let the water do whatever it does, but if it gets lower and lower i'll have to think quick

75 is to cold i keep mine at 86-90 with no problems

why keep it so low

Because lower water temps have more dissolved oxygen. Also, ammonia and other waste are much more toxic at higher temps. ''86 to 90 degrees'' you're joking, right? I agree with FunWow, 74-75 would be as low as I would try for a mature specimen such as yours. You may see a decreased apetite and less activity. 78 degrees is perfect.

Btw, nice tank set-up, it looks great. Who rules that tank?

the temp is now around 74, activity has slowed but appetite is still there. he does still cruise the tank tho. tank is ruled by the largemouth. LARGEMOUTH FTW:headbang2

nope not joking 86-90 i keep all my fish at this temp with no problems

below 80 is to cold in my opinion

i dont think below 86 is too cold by any means. my tank is stayin at 74 right now and this guy hits minnows so hard still...appetite has not been affected at all. you can hear this guy snap these guys in

i said below 80 is to cold not 86 :D

you can also hear mine hit pellets hard

the tiger will grow better at higher temp tigers grow slow anyways so best not slow it down anymore
