can u take another pic of foto 4 and 5. Your hand is kinda in the way of the back part. But basically that part hangs on the backside of your tank.(overflow)

The sump (first couple of pics) i THINK the hose attaches to the the back of the overflow.

The green hose last 4 pics. attaches the the pump in the 5th last pic. the pump then goes into the sump. where the non connected part of the hose is in the second pic.

forgot to metion that u tube also goes into your overflow. it connect the part thats in the water to the part that is hanging behind your tank.

The pump with the sponge on the intake can be used a bio. filtration. Stick that in the tank add some bacteria in abottle type stuff to get the tank cycled. Hope everything goes well

BTW i noticed you have a tank already setup. With a hang on filter. This is kinda like the same thing but on a much larger scale. You also might wanna do a water change. Water looks kinda funky.

Lol, that water actuall brand new that my g/f tank she figured she would add the rocks after she added the water. Its actually clearing up. She learned her lesson. I will takes pics again later im at work. I have a canster filter would that work better for this setup or should i use the other?

48in 18in deep and 20high
So i went with the 350, because i still dont quite understand the overflow one. so i want to change the water pretty quick cause it kinda smelly not too bad but bad enough and its not clear enough "yellowish". Would it be safe to run the filter a half day then go to wal-mart and get water from the "calligan thing for 25 cents a gallon" change out 20% of water a day till it get clear. Whats the best way. Also should i stay with the magnum or switch over once i get the overflow thingy. Thanks
Ps pics talk for themself
Any INPUT WOULD BE GREAT

48 x 18 x 20 is a 75gallon thats what i just got. your going to need a bigger tank if you wanna keep bass

Oh i know, He going to be a small one around 4-6 inches. I plan on getting a 125 to a 250 in the next 3 to 5 months. Still trying to convince my g/f tthat it would be a cool HEADBOARD for our bed. LOL" But I do plan on going bigger just want to get to under stand this stuff first before i go bigger. Do i still need a "air bubbler" or would the just filter be fine? Water changes 20% a day untill its clear? should i put declorinzer in it from walmart" "ACE". How long should i wait before putting the bass in? I plan on running the filter for about half the day then adding him>would that be fine?
