OK the Bass Setup....HELP NEEDED

so i did a ph level test (i guess) it wa low didnt read on mine 7.2-8.4 look like a 6.8 or 7.0, also my alk test was really low, i also did a amonia test, still waiting on the results have to wait 15 min 7 went by. test came out to be between 0 and 0.25 is that high or good?

Your pH is likely the issue. I do not know what pH bass like so check the lake water. Do all of the tests as a comparison to see what may be off in your tank.

As Lil_Stinker stated, you want the ammonia at zero. It is really toxic stuff. I do not know what level is tollerable. I don't even own a test kit. Here is why: If you take a water sample to a fish dealer they will test it for free and tell you what you should do. I also learned a little trick from a dealer that does not test at all. The water from a healthy tank should smell like fresh dirt or potting soil. If it has a funk smell to it, is cloudy, or retains bubbles at the surface, then you need to do a series of water changes until the water improves. I use a cheapie pool test kit from Wally World to test for chlorine in fill water after the dechlor, and the pH. Every thing else I get done at the fish dealer when things go awry.

The solution to almost everything is to change the water.
