I wouldn't...... would you eat them?

didn't think so.

Lamest and weakest argument ever. Remind me not to join you for dinner at your place - I doubt I would care for flakes, bloodworms, and tubifex cubes.

There is no reason not to. The reason we use them as fish bait is because the fish like to eat them, and they would likely have learned not to eat them in the wild if they caused problems for the fish.

I feed maggots to all my fish. Although I am feeding sterile maggots made by Seachem. As long as they arent bad maggots go ahead, fish like them.

thats just what i thought when i read it

i personally wouldn't

You guys need to give or strengthen the reasoning for the refusal to feed maggots rather than just saying no, etc.

i know what your saying but i havent picked these out of the bin theyre brought from a tackle shop which have been bred for fishing purposes
i know maggots come from bad meat but im not asking if they`ll be ok for a staple diet just as a treat i like to give my fish a variety of foods i find it much more natural then just giveing them just frozen meats like prawns and cockles etc
