Just a tip though, it´s better if you don´t cook ingredients for fish food. Healthier for the fish that way. On another note I used to hang out with a guy who made grasshopper spagetti all the time !

well they do call them "meal" worms. i bet they would be good in stir fry. may have to try it when the wifes not home.

I've eaten live mealworms before.

so have I. Honestly it wasn't that bad. I bet if we were raised in a culture where cows were considered disgusting and worms were considered delicious, we would grow up liking them.

ohh it was just an experiment cooking them and the crushing them into pieces for my angels. i know they lose thier protien if cooked but like i said it was just a experiment.

Freeze drying might work and then sticking them frozen in a coffee grinder to powderize them

I saw a show about bugs and sweets on the food channel. They had a caramel apple covered in mealworms. The host bit into it and said they tasted like rice crispys on it.
