Diecast are pretty good, Killswitch is decent, awesome live band though, not a big fan of All That Remains, they have some good songs but I just can't get into the vocalist's sound.

Yeah, out of those three, All That Remains is probably my least favorite, but I still find myself turning up some of their songs nice and loud in my car.

I'll bet Killswitch is good live. They were in Denver just recently, but I did not go because I know no one around who likes them, or any one who likes any of the metal I like. I have tried and failed to convert my wife.

yea it's always hard finding local metal heads and trying to "convert" people takes a lot of patience. KSE has a live dvd out, Believe it came out last year, possibly in '05. Pretty good production on it, doesn't look like a crappy bootleg. I think my favourite live concert dvd has to be In Flames. Those crazy Swede's are just awesome. Saw them in Feb. '06 with Zao, Devil Driver, and Trivium. The DVD is just amazing, 2 discs and they do a great cover of Pantera's Hostile, hell it's almost thrashier than Pantera's version!

Not to mention the drumming is INSANE, and "technical" death metal has some of the best guitar work I've ever heard.

yeah, the drumming is fast. how do they do that?

and some are just crazy insane like the drummer from jfac

or The Bezerker. so many people think it's a drum machine because of the speed but he does it live in concert WITHOUT air triggers or electrical guides. Same with Dragonforce, crazy crazy drummer

yes true

feel sorry for these bands doing summer festivals. How they keep it up for a full set in the heat is beyond me. Especially with the amounts of alcohol they drink lol
