okay saltwater blue clawed crab

okay i just got a crabbing liseance down near cape may, NJ and was wondering wat the best bait is?

i was thinking fish carcus like the leftovers of the fish i catch

bunker is just to expensive 2 buy by the dozen
any ideas?

Anything dead will work. Fish is good, but chicken is also good. The oil that comes out of the fat carries tons of sent. Use cheap cuts such as the neck or skin. Meat scraps (raw) from the fridge will work too.

fish heads or chicken work well. basically any kind of meat will work.

i love crabing. I live buy a beach and go a lot during the summer. I use dead fish or meat. The more oily the better
