depends on quality of the ingredients. Nothing beats fresh live crickets and worms to me.

Pellets I don't know how much of what quality food they put in there. But I know none of my fish depend on these fancy looking pellets

Well just to add some content to this.....I feed my Thai Silk just a mix of cichlids pellets including Omega one cichlid pellets, Omega one sinking algae wafers, Some leftover Southern delight pellets (wont buy again - just dont care for it that much) and rarely some bloods worms. I think variety is best

well i don't feed any live food to my FH
at the mo am using a mix of XO starry and ever red
it cost me $9

I don't recommend this product. It's a waste of money, and does not do anything to your flowerhorn.
