My husband is working in Oklahoma and texted me this pic.

I searched google and I think it's a Centruroides vittatus. (Striped Bark Scorpion).

He works for the railroad and encounters all kinds of stuff around the tracks. Reptiles and various bugs.

I think I posted this on here before but I can't remember. Brown tarantula in Arkansas.

And some kind of caterpillar. I identified it at the time but I don't remember now.

And he also has pics of a very very small wasp dragging off a spider much bigger than it (or trying). I need to upload them.

Cool pics! I remember when I found my first scorpion while camping in Georgia. It fell out of a piece of firewood!

Lol. That woulda freaked me out.

I've actually never found one in person despite having wandered around many places where they should be, including Texas.

I guess scorpions fear me. :)

THERE'S TARANTULAS IN ARKANSAS!?!!? REMIND ME TO NEVER GO THERE. *SHUDDER*

Yeah. They're also in Missouri, Kansas, TX, Oklahoma, Colorado, Louisiana, Nevada, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

Lol. You're pretty safe in PA.

Arkansas also has giant centipedes. As does MO but I've never seen one here.
