see I'm not even that old and you make me feel old. lol

but yeah I was super happy to find out I can still run it in dos mode on winxp and earlier machines, haven't tried in win 7. funnies thign for me is the hunting back in the day i distinctly remember it took the bullet longer to reach the faster moving target, now it seems too east to get a kill. My guess is I'm running a patched version or it's simply how it runs on a faster machine.

OMG!! LOOOOOOOOOL!

I saw this thread title and IMMEDIATELY thought about Rogue! I was all like, that was a bad-ass game.. I'm going to say Rogue! Then I thought, damn.. no one is going to ever have heard of Rogue and I'm going to look like a tool. Haha!

Then I scroll down and see your post... :headbang2

Rogue was simplicity personified... and HIGHLY addictive! Many hours did I lose playing that game. Even got most of my friends addicted to it and we had competitions to get the high score. You would get down to the lower levels and start freaking out. OMG it's a "D"!! And a "V"!!

Awsome! lol....someone else knew what I was talking about. I saw this thread and immediately thought of this game, but for the life of me couldn't remember the name. I searched through a list of old DOS games, and when I saw Rogue, it immediately clicked.

I just downloaded DosBox and Rogue. Just played it for the first time in probably almost 20 years...lol

Commander Keen! I remember getting the shareware with 1000+ games and this was always in the CD
