Not sure if you googled it or not

Pretty sure he knows what he is doing when it comes to Leos. Especially since he has had his pair for 15 years. Plus all the countless other leos he has kept.

:banhim:no he should get rid of the sand and use paper towels!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jk,totaly agree, you got a great pair and they seem very healthy. As far as overdosing on calci sand,i couldnt get mine to eat it if i tried, lol.Makes you think twice on postin pics sometimes huh.lol.

I wasn't telling him to change his ways, I was giving out information on what breeders recommend.

Juvenille's overdose on calci sand more then anything because their hunting skills aren't refined, so they get a mouthful of substrate with their crickets.

Lighten up. He didn't seem to take offense to me giving out information and I don't recall ever telling him that's how it has to be done.

I don't ever recall getting upset? I was just saying what works for him, is working.

But thanks for the info anyways. I am sure someone will read it that needs to.
yeah i wasnt upset either dude, everyones input can be helpfull in some way, their are so many herp keepers with many diferent veiws and its due in large part to what we got here.Substrates are allways the biggy and live feeding seems to be the other one.Its alot harder to get where someones comming from in a forum thread so sorry if you thought we were bashing you.You were just stating what some other breaders do,ive been their,i met some very reputable bearded breeders who kept babies on sand, others say no way but dude these guys did it for years. If i mention that then ppl automaticaly think i stick up for them, truth is, i dont know.I use aquarium gravle myself,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jk.

No you fool, I want to see pics of the leos in Afghanistan! and I guess your tank too lol

Opps, my bad. Well I would like to get the pics from him but he's kind of over in Iraq, lol!

And just so we're all on the same page, I feed my geckos outside the tank in a small tub if I'm not hand feeding them. I mentioned that at the beginning of the thread.

Seth
I would love to see the pics too, the habitat as well as you new tank.
Also, you house the pair together right? I have also wanted to add a male to my 2-female tank (55g) but have always heard it's not a good idea.
